|This franchise gelato retailer opened in Sep 2006 along with the rest of the old Emporium wing of the Westfield Centre mall. (They're in the center of the food court lower level.) They sell gelato, crepes, and some espresso drinks on the side. They use a two-group ECM Raffaello, but the awkward staff doesn't know enough to not store the portafilter handles cooling in the drip tray away from the machine. This results in a cool serving temperature, but surprisingly it does not completely ruin the cup. They measure their espresso pours in marked shotglasses and serve them as double shots. The resulting cup is almost half crema on top, and it has a smooth body and good aroma. While it is light on flavor, it's not watery - mostly an herbal/warming mix with some peppery notes.
