|This homey, unpretentious restaurant in the Mission offers a lot of great staples for a good Florentine meal. (Though you might be surprised by the gummi bears served with every check.) With a single-group Elektra machine at the bar, they use Miscela D'oro beans to pull shots of espresso in Miscela D'oro-logo ACF cups. It has a medium-to-dark brown crema, but only a ring with a bald spot in the middle (common for packaged/shipped coffee with some age to it). And despite its weaker body, it has a full aroma and a notable taste of tobacco. A decent effort for restaurant espresso where the beans aren't very fresh.
