|Typical North-of-the-Panhandle caf with little foot traffic, quiet space, many indoor tables, and Internet access. There's even an upper-level "study" floor that fits only two small tables against the upper front windows. One sidewalk table outside. They have a bit of Lavazza branding: cups, former signage, and they carry their beans for espresso use. Their drip and for-sale coffee is from Capricorn, however. The Northern European-accented owner pulls overfull shots from a two-group La Spaziale, even if you ask her for a short shot. The result isn't outrageously big, but it's watery. Which is unfortunate, because it looks like a good cup - with a good aroma, a dark brown, congealed crema, and a pungent/dark herbal flavor. Served in Lazazza-logo Le Porcellane d'ANCAP and IPA cups. The milk-frothing here is decent, though not great - it's enough to make their milk-based drinks worth it at the top of the drinks, but they get watery at the bottom.
