Manhal runs the small space with a very casual atmosphere and music on some weekends. Quirky barista is thorough and deliberate, taking the necessary time for espresso pours. They use Graffeo for espresso and Capricorn for drip. Full, even crema that's a darker brown, lacks perceptible bubbles, and persists. (It occasionally has a white "heat" dot.) Dark, rich espresso that tastes of nutmeg and spice.
