|This outlet of the plain lunch caf chain opened in June 2004. Minimal interior seating with a two nice, wooden caf tables outdoors. Espresso is served with a moderately thick layer of medium brown crema. Thinner body with a slightly smoky, herbal flavor that infrequently runs a touch bitter. Served with a doppio-sized pour. (Avoid doubles: the effect is even worse on the quality.) Baristas grind to order and take their time to pull shots. Milk-based drinks have a lot of dry froth with larger bubbles and a persistent milk sweetness: not bad, but not smooth and textured enough to be really good. Beans switched from Torrefazione Italia in Summer 2005.
