|This airport coffee kiosk, previously located outside Gate 25, used to shared little more than Peet's branding name only (it shared branding and space with the North Beach Trattoria and City Dog). It has since been relocated to Gate 26, a bit deeper in the gates, as a standalone Peet's kiosk with declining quality standards and a lot of Peet's merchandising. Two fully automatic Schaerer machines produce an espresso with a decent amount of pale crema and a good aroma. However, the crema dissipates quickly and it has a thin body. If you're lucky, it's stronger than the usual drip coffee pepper flavor, but it still doesn't say "espresso". We've often experienced lawsuit-level scalding serving temperatures here, adding injury to the insult of frequently ashy, burnt-tasting cups. Milk-frothing is of a consistent, weak large mass applied in heavy doses in a vain attempt to counteract the often overly harsh espresso.
