|Unusual Japanese caf next to a parking garage that serves pre-packaged sushi, sandwiches, soup/udon made on-site, and espresso. It feels like someone's cramped apartment kitchen. Prominent Illy branding, sales. Several small indoor tables. Single-group UNIC Phoenix machine is operated by charming, thoroughly Japanese staff. The espresso is terrible - watery, thin, and with a drip-like flavor and body. But the novelty of being served Italian espresso by polite Japanese staff almost makes it worth a visit (read: it doesn't). Served in a drip-sized coffee mug with saucer.
