|Mediterranean caf� serves rotisserie chicken, Middle Eastern food, and espresso off a colored chalk menu. Two indoor tables and counter seating at an open window; two sidewalk tables. Coffee-unsavvy staff can tamp well, but they let their machine cool, they have no idea where their coffee beans are from, and they pour shots far too long and high in the cup. Espresso has a very frothy, medium-to-dark brown crema with white "hot" spots. The long pour fills their small paper cups to the top - and the machine pours too fast - resulting in an over-extracted espresso with a thin body. Weak flavor of tepid pepper that's a touch ashy.
