|Located at the East end of Crissy Field, in the Crissy Field Center, this caf also serves the same soup, sandwiches, baked goods, juices, and espresso menu as its sister in the Warming Hut. It is located beside a small wind farm with a view over Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. It has outdoor benches, green wooden deck chairs and tables, and a few wooden tables off on the side. Indoors there are a handful of small caf tables. While still using a two-group La Marzocco Linea machine, the park service food service switched from Equator Estate to Peerless Coffee recently, and the quality has directly suffered a little as a result. They serve their shots excessively tall, even for a default double shot, up to the top edge of a short paper cup. It has an even, medium brown crema with a creamy texture that's handled surprisingly well: not overly watery, runny, nor ashy. But while the Peerless coffee supply seems relatively fresh, the flavor lacks much of anything interesting beyond the typical spices and tobacco smoke.
