|This is the Fillmore outlet of the local downmarket chain spun off by Delfina restaurant. The waits can be a bit long for a table, of which there are only a few: a couple sidewalk tables outdoors and a few booths inside its diner-like interior. They may boast their Neapolitan pedigree for pizza, but it's less authentic and more Westernized - as reflected by far more Chinese patrons than Italians here. They use a classic, two-group Faema E-61 machine at the counter to pull shots of Mr. Espresso with a blonde to medium brown, even crema that's somewhat thin on body. It has a decent, though not great, aroma and a somewhat pungent flavor of herbs - but in a way that's atypical of a Mr. Espresso Neapolitan blend (they have a custom blend here). Served in classic brown Nuova Point cups. Decent for a restaurant espresso, but not notable otherwise.
