|This Peet's chain opened a while after the NaS Coffee chain in this building complex (located more along the pedestrian way of Commercial St.) closed in 2005. It's enclosed in enough glass to make you feel as if you're in a fish tank, but that's good if you like natural light. It's a long storefront with small caf tables, chairs, and stools spread throughout. Using dueling two-group La Marzocco Linea machines, they pull shots with a rather even, medium-to-light-brown crema of some thickness and consistency. It has that Peet's smokiness and cloves flavor, and compares somewhat favorably to some other Peet's chain stores - although it clearly isn't among their best.
