|This caf offers a mouthful for a name, as it's located in the new Contemporary Jewish Museum. There's a nice open plaza from Mission St. leading up to it, with a few orange caf tables in the outdoor sun shielded by green parasols. Inside there are a few indoor tables along a long, tall, white interior wall of modern design. The menu is a sort of faux kosher, but then the entrance doorway to this place is adorned with uncircumcized cherubs - so who's counting? Using a hideous single-group Schaerer Ambiente, they pull espresso shots with a pale blonde crema of modest thickness. The resulting shot is rather tall and thin - just slightly better than drip with its mild pepper flavor. But served in a decent adult cup at least.
