|Formerly the French Blue, this restaurant opened in its place in April 2014. The menu is a bit pricey for what amounts to a lot of high-end brunch fare plus lunch and dinner menus, but the food is pretty good. Outside it has a covered patio enclosed from the front sidewalk, fit with dining tables and chairs. Inside it has an open, white-painted wood-ceilinged farmhouse look inside: bright and with a bit of space. Using a two-group Faema behind the central kitchen area, they pull shots of Mr. Espresso that come with a darker brown, rich crema - with a slightly lighter pour area at the spout. It's a rich-looking espresso, one that's surprising for a Napa Valley restaurant. It's a touch thin on body for all other good appearances, and it tastes of a balanced blend of spice and mostly strong herbal pungency. A serious restaurant espresso (and it better be for the price). Served in Mr. Espresso logo Nuova Point cups.
