|This café is located on Stanford University campus, surrounded by the Green Library, the Graduate School of Education, and other buildings in the shadow of the Hoover Tower. A free-standing coffee hut located in the center of the open space that surrounds it (save for a barrage of locked up bicycles), it is very popular with students and faculty. There are dozens of metal outdoor café tables and chairs (there is no indoor space) that encircle the small building. A couple of lines tend to form along one side, and they serve their Venezuelan single origin beans using a four-group UNIC machine. It is surprisingly very consistent with their downtown Palo Alto location. They pull shots with a medium brown crema that's a little light on body but yet remains healthy looking. The shot is modestly sized with a flavor of herbal pungency with some tobacco notes. It balances well with their good milk-frothing, as they make one of the better cappuccinos in the Palo Alto area.
