|This is a place we just don't "get": it is adored by the locals, but it leaves so much to be desired. Sure, it's quiet, clean, modern, and offers Wi-Fi, which is more than you can say for 99% of the coffee shops out there. But the coffee underachieves entirely. Inside there are a few tables of different shapes and sizes, black leather chair and sofa seating, and a number of adjustable stools both at a long rear table and at window counter seating. Using a two-group BFC Diadema, they pull shots of Weaver's Coffee that come with a very thin layer of medium brown crema on black ACF cup filled high. The resulting shot is watery. It has a wood- and spice-forward flavor profile that's diluted by the high water content, but the wateriness actually keeps the darkly roasted coffee from tasting too ashy or bitter. No matter how much you might like the environment, there are much better espresso options in town -- even if they are in the "touristy" spots of Napa that locals dare never venture into.
