Review
This spacious corner restaurant (located in what was once the site of Flynn's Arcade in the original movie "Tron") is considered by some locals as one of the most eclectic in Culver City town (though that's not saying much). They offer some sidewalk patio seating with more extensive seating in back. In the front bar there's a coffee bar with heavy Intelligentsia branding and a modern three-group La Spaziale. One of their coffee menu items, besides espresso drinks and various pour-overs, includes the 'Angelina': quad espresso shots over ice, served as an iced latte, and sweetened with agave nectar ($5). (I already want to throw up.) The shots they pull are quite good, however: with a medium brown crema and a creamy mouthfeel. It's a brief two sips, but it is well made, with a good body, and a multi-dimensional flavor profile of mild spice, wood, pungency, some tobacco - all in balance. Served in mismatched color ceramic cups.
