|This cavernous lunch spot slings freshly made salads like SF's Mixt Greens or Harvest & Rowe but also sells a few other items like a Sellers Market. Their tagline is "Feel good. Eat well.," chalking them up as yet another food-as-medicine purveyor. There are many small café tables inside the long space and a number of wooden sidewalk tables out front. You have to take their coffee service at least semi-seriously, as they use Barefoot Roasters coffee (and served Brazil Redcab for their espresso on our visit). Using a two-group Simonelli at the counter, they pull rather long and tall shots. It comes with a thin, light brown, even crema that just covers the surface. The watery body to the long pull masks what are otherwise quality coffee ingredients. It has a flavor of mild spices that's a bit washed out. And unfortunate mishandling of what could easily be much better espresso.
