But get your coffee here -- do not pass security -- unless you're a big fan of superautomated, stale chain coffee pumped out by airport employees. (No superautomatic Verismo crap as in the two Starbucks inside.) Using a two-group La Spaziale and Oakland local Due Torri beans, they pull shots that surprisingly rank among the best airport coffee in America. Sure, it's served in a medium Solo paper cup for a high airport markup, but it has a well-blended, richer flavor of pungent herbs, smoke (not too smoky), and a sweeter edge. The staff are even clued in to the roaster. With a smooth, even, healthy-looking medium brown crema of modest thickness.
