|A local hangout in the Outer Sunset complete with odd sofas and wooden benches and chairs. Ideal for catching up on some reading material while listening to rockabilly oldies. One wall has an ocean mural, there's a bright, north-facing window along Noriega, and then there's the obligatory colored chalkboard caf menu. They often leave their two-group La Spaziale portafilter handles cooling in the drip tray (yuck!). The resulting cup has a pale, even crema that's not too thin to cover the surface - but not much more. The body is thin, and it has an 'off', chemical-like aroma. Flavorwise, it's a little smoke and pepper but more ash. Served as a large pour in a random collection of "garage sale" cups.
