|Small Swiss chocolate importer along the pedestrian lane between 3rd & 4th St. off Mission St. It is quiet, empty, and likely soon to go out of business after opening at the very end of 2007. There are a few metal caf tables and chairs in front and three designer caf tables inside. They emphasize Swiss chocolate truffles and confections (so the emphasis is on milk chocolate) and serve a lazy man's answer to caf espresso on the side using a dual-group Gemini CS200 Pro Nespresso plastic hunk with a separate, dedicated Nespresso milk frother. Choosing the "Ristretto" (supposedly "strong") coffee pod, they serve it as a relatively large shot with a pale, almost whitish crema of thin to moderate thickness. It has a dishwater body and the most subtle of coffee flavorings - like a candy caramel, but without any of the caramel sweetness or subtlety. Why bother?
