|Opening in late 2009, the inside espresso bar started operating in early 2010. This is a wine country pit stop with corrugated metal siding, a popular sandwich shop/deli that announces orders over a P.A. system, a pizza oven that only works weekends, and a small produce market all rolled into one. Outdoor seating only. They've always offered Four Barrel Coffee for retail sale, and now they serve Friendo Blendo for espresso. Using a two-group La Marzocco Linea at the espresso bar/cashier, they oddly use only paper cups. The resulting shot is short, the body is a touch thinner than expected, but it has a bolder flavor of smoke, pepper, and some tobacco with a honey-edged sweetness. Definitely one of the nicer espresso shots in town, even if you have to put up with paper cups to get it.
