|After a rocky opening in 2007, this corner restaurant of glass and wood is now quite a draw. The food theme is Liguria and northwest Italy (there's some Piemonte going on), and the staff wear it on their Genova T-shirts. A private dining room upstairs and many tables and a long bar downstairs. Using a glowing, three-group La Spaziale S5-EK at the bar, they pull shots of Lavazza with a decent layer of medium brown crema. The crema can also run with clear spots and a swirled dark and medium brown. As a cup, It can run a bit rich for Lavazza, served as a shorter shot. It has a good, typical Lavazza aroma, despite its obvious age, and a typical Lavazza flavor of mild cloves and spices. Obviously avoid if Lavazza isn't your thing. They have since replaced their Lavazza-logo IPA cups with red ceramic Heath cups and even lowered the price $0.50.
