|Arguably the weakest espresso at all reviewed Peet's. Corner location with enclosed patio views of 4th Street as it goes upscale. Small beverage bar compared to the bean & leaf space. No real indoor seating, but plenty outside. Heavy clientele affinity for "fluffy" quasi-coffee drinks. Painfully slow service. Espresso is served with a decent layer of medium brown crema. Flavor of some light smoky notes. Some grounds/grit at the bottom of the cup, which is a large drip cup. Their lack of demitasses (other than paper ones) is telling.
