This Piemontese/Ligurian restaurant has received a lot of press - most of which it lives up to. It's an expansive restaurant for downtown: two large ground-floor seating areas and a small balcony up the stairs. They use a two-group Mr. Espresso Faema SMART to pull espresso shots with often a good layer of medium brown crema: it's usually textured, albeit not too thick. It has an herbal pungency that's not too potent. Served a little high in the cup with a biscotto on the side - though they can be inconsistent and pull shorter and taller shots...consecutively. Your typical decent Mr. Espresso restaurant variety. With a good grappa menu and some very nice Piemonte wines.
