This small French bistro on an upper Fillmore corner has several sidewalk tables out front, a tiny bar, and indoor seating along windows throughout. At the bar they use a two-group Promac with its portafilter handles cooling on the drip tray, resulting in a lukewarm serving temperature. They serve espresso with a pale, whitish ring of thin crema (with a hole at the center). It has the expected Illy flavor of a woody, mild spice, and it is served in older designer Illy IPA cups. Given that you cannot see the Illy can at the grinder, they must buy retail cans and dump them in.
