Dark and noisy restaurant (well, the patrons more than the restaurant itself) on two levels, with the top level often consumed with smoke from the kitchen. Good, but not special, "Nuevo Latino fusion" cuisine (and shouldn't that be "Latino Nuevo"??). They use a two-group Elektra at the front bar. Credit is due for importing coffee from Papachuy, a roaster in Peru, despite the age this adds to the beans. Not surprisingly, they produce a pale ring of thinned out crema. It has a light herbal flavor with some spice notes. Served rather large for a single (more than half the cup). Yet another overpriced, underwhelming restaurant espresso.
