Fine dining decor on two levels with an open atrium over the center bar. If you're dining in the theater district, this is about as upscale as they get - though the prices are steep. They proudly serve Fair Trade Equator Estate coffee. Using a Rancilio machine, they pour espresso to the top of their nondescript cylindrical cups. Despite the volume of the pour, their espresso is not overextracted. A weak (though darker brown and patterned) crema that dissipates quickly, but a good pungent flavor of tobacco and tar with a slightly bitter edge. Decent for restaurant espresso, but it still lacks body, a fuller crema, and a richer flavor profile to be called "good" in general.
