Review
Upon entry, you're greeted by a Brazilian-made Leogap roaster - one of the devices they use to roast green beans from M.P. Mountanos. They have recently turned to 100% organic beans. Modern interior design, with odd angles, modern lighting, and groovy New Age mood music. Rows of iMacs for Internet use. Many nicer indoor tables with multi-platform seating. A large row of outdoor café tables along the Post St. sidewalk. Breakfast, salads, and ethnic clothing and handbags for sale, but it's mostly about the coffee. Espresso is served with a thick, dark brown, striped, congealed crema. With a subtle flavor that doesn't hold up as well as its crema, but it's still good: earthy, slightly smoky, and a mostly herbal flavor. Served in a large drip coffee cup with saucer. Still one of best espresso bars in neighborhood - and it's "open til late" daily.
