Review
High-ceilinged, cavernous, deep café with on-site roasting equipment and dozens of indoor tables. Some baked goods, but here it's all about the coffee (a lot of beans prominently for sale too). Unfortunately, the coffee is a real missed opportunity. Served with a very thin, dark brown crema, their espresso is excessively dark with a burnt, ashy, bitter flavor. Beans are excessively over-roasted. It's hard to drink it without milk: this is why Americans primarily drink lattes. Served in mismatched ceramics.
