This small, local chain of restaurants and cafés goes heavy on the organic and sustainable labels, but they generally do a decent job despite the emphasis on identity politics. The restaurant at this location has tables inside and on a covered section alongside the pier. Across a breezeway from the entrance to the restaurant lies the café, which is where the coffee service - but no seating - resides. Using a two-group Linea in the back behind the counter, they pull shots of Blue Bottle with a thin body and a mottled medium and dark brown crema. It's a decent, although not too memorable, a cup - with a balanced flavor between some herbal pungency and milk spices. Served in classic brown ACF cups.
