This is another one of those breakfast and sandwich shops that SFers oddly line up for hours on weekends for brunch. They have limited sidewalk seating along Church and 26th Sts. Seating is cramped indoors. Using a small, two-group La Spaziale Super 3000 and Coffee Magic beans, they produce a shot with a thinner congealed layer of medium brown, even crema. It is a modest-sized shot with a medium body and a mellow, smooth flavor of spices. Yet it tastes like a true, fresh espresso. Served in a simple ceramic cup and artistically oblong saucer. Cash only.
