Review
Not surprising for another Noah's: authentic NY bagels, and authentic NY (meaning: lame) espresso. This location, next to a Starbucks, offers corner counter seating with busy sidewalk views through the glass - and more dining seating towards the rear. At a side counter under a neon "espresso" sign (at least it's spelled right), you can order espresso drinks from their two-group Astoria machine - served in large paper cups. The resulting shots have a pale, thin ring of crema around the rim of the cup and an ashy, rank aroma. Surprisingly, the flavor isn't ashy - more of a watered-down, milder drip coffee flavor. Mmmm mmmm lame.
